Faculty of Humanities Students joined People of Xian Culture Program
CMU’s Chinese Language students Ms. Natnaree Bunluephaopong and Ms. Suchanya Tancharoenchit, were selected to join the Students International Program Camp that was held under the “One Belt One Road initiative, titled “Tracing along the Silk Road to be People of Xi’an”.
Supported by the Xi’an Province government, the 10 day camp was held during July 11 – 20, 2018 in the People’s Republic of China. 66 persons from 25 countries joined this activity to learn more about the culture and life style of the people of Xi’an and visited places of interest concerning history, archeology and literature such as the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the Great Wall, Literary Center and various museums. During the camp the students also had lessons on conducting a tea ceremony, Tai Chi Dance, Sand Drawing, Chinese Shadow Play and Chinese calligraphy.
